Well, I'm back in good ol' Idaho! Sheesh, it's nice to be back, but a little strange. I feel like I've been living in Boston my entire life. It's all new to me again. I really miss the "T" (subway system), Filene's Basement, my hardwood floors, trees, shutters on all the windows, tall buildings, Whole Foods, the town of Wellesley, the Charles River, movies in the park, taking walks around Harvard Square, Red Sox obsessions (although it continues for me in Rexburg), Finalé Dessertérie, Café of India, Brattle Street and my drive home from work with all the splendor of the city looming in front of me. Oh well, Rexburg has its glories too.
This is a picture of me "candlepin" bowling in Haverhill, Massachusetts. This kind of bowling is not my favorite, but it was fun. Drew and I went to a "Black and White Bash" at Winnekeni Castle in northern Mass. It was party for all the Young Single Adults in New England with cheesecake and some mysterious punch. Everyone had to wear black and white and the castle was really cool. It's beautiful and really authentic. Afterward, Drew and I went bowling in our nice clothes and had a good laugh.
I start school on Monday, my birthday (!), and I'll keep you updated with my culinary adventures with school.

that was the coolest thing ever, but that bowling alley was the freakin hottest place ever. Mormon dances just aren't my thing so i am glad that we did something fun after like bowling.
