weekly menu

Hey everybody! This week's is going to be a little nuts. I hope I can keep up with my diet and exercise routine (I've been doing pretty good). My brother and his wife are coming into town from Seattle resulting in a 3 day party for my family (see Friday, Saturday and Sunday meals as a reference). I'll also be traveling a little bit for work this week so we'll see how that goes. In any case, here's this week's menu (and a new menu template - still having problems with enlarging it. Help?):

Tuesday: Grilled Chicken, Apple and Gruyere Cheese Panini on Sourdough (that about sums it up - nothing special, no recipe)

Wednesday: Whole Wheat Fusilli with Vegetable Tomato Sauce

Thursday: Something quick - I'll probably be home late because of a day trip to Washington. One of my favorite quick meals is 2 small corn tortillas with some sharp cheese melted on it and 2 steamed eggs on top along with some fresh, roasted green chilies. Yum!

Friday: (Family Party) Cheese Platter with Crusty Bread and Fresh Fruit (I wish we had a Beecher's in Phoenix so that I could buy some of that divine Gorgonzola or Roquefort. Maybe some Brie or some of their Flagship. I so wish you could try their Blue-Vein cheeses. I might be able to get Stephen and Leone to bring some . . . I love cheese.)
Saturday: (Family Party) - Don't know what I'm supposed to bring to a BBQ. Maybe I'll pamper myself and not bring anything.

Sunday: (Sunday Dinner) - Mexican Food?
What are you guys making this week?

Cucumber sandwich with chase's fresh cucumbers from the garden. I forgot how good those taste!

You would be proud of me though...I made homemade wheat croissant rolls with freshly ground wheat yesterday. They were really good!

Then I looked on your menu...but you went to school for this sort of thing...that's the only thing that makes me feel better. you're amazing

Tricia, You goose! You underestimate your talents. Fresh cucumbers, homemade wheat croissants - YUM! Can I have the recipe? I would love it.

Now, if only I could dance like you and look like you and be like you in just about every way - my life would be complete. :)

Lovliest. Menu-slash-grocery templates. Ever. The panini sounds delicious - do you use a press?

emgeei,

yes, I use a panini press. one of the best inventions ever! I highly recommend buying one if you don't have one.

as for the menu templates, I'm probably going to be selling a stack of them on my Etsy shop soon so check it out then. :)
