I'm pretty sure that there was once a time when women weren't openly scandalous. Unfortunately, I have been raised in an era where scandal is sold from the metal stand in the grocery line.

What happened to softness? Look at Grace Kelly. Yes, she is sporting bare shoulder and a sultry look but she is still feminine and sophisticated. Today, the look of female celebrities goes beyond the bare shoulders until nothing is left but a naked figure.




What happened to sweetness?
Admire my personal favorite, Audrey Hepburn.

Have you ever read some of the things that she has said and done with her life? "Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, it's at the end of your arm, as you get older, remember you have another hand: The first is to help yourself, the second is to help others."









What happened to innocence?
Now, I didn't know Rita Hayworth personally, of course. But let's say for a moment that you were a young, teen girl in the 1950s and you saw this picture of Rita . . . an icon of poise and innocence. Don't you think that you would want to be that way instead of today's influenced youth who have Paris Hilton and Carmen Electra to look up to? Good heavens!
