Will someone please explain to me why everyone is so cranky at Christmas time? The season of "peace and love" has turned into the season of "I'm-busy-buying-presents-for-people-that-I-don't-even-like-just-so-I-can-get-more-presents-from people-that-don't-like-me". I went to the mall the other day and people were feisty, I tell you! The parking lot was jammed to the brim, lanes were filled to capacity with gift-laden cars and screaming children, the aisles in the stores were crammed with smelly and sweaty individuals as "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas" sung through the used air. Too late. So I ask you again, why are people in such a bad mood? I'll tell you why. It's because too many people are going to the mall buying presents for their "loved ones" instead of sharing tender moments watching "It's A Wonderful Life" or "Scrooge". Come on, even "Christmas Story" has a good message hidden in its plot. There are only two days left. Do something worthwhile with the holiday season.
